Merry Christmas!!

In this strange foreign land Christmas apparently does not exists!  This disappointed me somewhat, but it’s not like I wasn’t expecting it.

Talked with all my neighbors, you know, touched base and what not.  Got to know my new neighbor, Rod, a litter better!  The guy really likes bugs.  He keeps asking me to compete with him to see who can catch a dung beetle first.  I always agree, but if I ever do catch a dung beetle I’m sure as hell not giving it to him!  I’m gonna donate it!  Speaking of Donating I still haven’t managed to catch a bee… Oh woe…

As always, I made my daily stop at The Roost for my coffee fix.  Brewtser is warming up to me quite a bit!  Today he offered to put some pigeon milk in my coffee.  The blend was sweet and mild!  It was none other than the world renowned Pigeon Blend!

Brewtser’s not the only one warming up to me.  My relationship with Sable is coming along nicely!  She actually acknowledges me!  Our conversations today went as follows:

Captain’s log, star date 122605

Oh happy day!!  I’ve finally caught a bee!

So, I got up this afternoon, and sold all the fish I had caught last night after nooks closed.  With the money I got myself a new hairstyle and bought some new clothes from the able sisters.  Sable is doing well. (I used the rest of the cash to buy out nook's and Redd's, and pay off some of my debt)

Afterwards I went to the roost to get my fix.  I had heard rumors that drinking coffee makes you faster when you’re trying to catch bees, and I was dead set on catching one today! 

I left the roost and went to work shaking trees.  As soon as a bees nest fell out of a tree, instead of going right to my menu like I usually do, I ran a little ways away!  Then I got my menu, equipped my net, went to the town map and then used the buttons to leave the menu and started tapping A rapidly!  You see, I used every trick I had heard to catch bees, and I don’t know which one did it, but I caught my bee! =D Celebration in Serenity!

In other news, I finally made my town flag!!  It's not awesome, but I like it well enough.  It's what I wanted.  =)  And Amelia is finally moving away!  Today is a good day indeed.


Evening update:  I opened up my gates later in the evening out of boredom, and almost immediately my flirty friend Digitus showed up!  We hung out for a bit and he sold me some hats.  Then Jo Jo showed up and informed us that he ad managed to acquire a Samurai Sword!  Digitus and I were simply ecstatic at this news, and insisted that Jo Jo go back to his town to fetch this treasured item.  He also got a Master Sword, which he went to his town to get as well, but the boys were by far more excited about it than I was.  I love Zelda, but I don't want the master Sword in my house. =)

When Jo Jo came back we put the swords up on display in my house so we could ogle them (and so Digitus and I could get the items in our catalogs).  The Samurai Sword is so beautiful!  I've wanted to get my hands on one of those babies since I saw Cyrano's!

After a bit Jo Jo had to go home.  =( So Digitus and I hung out for a bit more.  To put it simply he was not discreet with his flirting. (ASL, etc.) XD Digitus is nice, and I like him, but between you and me, Kaylee's more interested in Jo Jo

After Digitus left, I went around town talking to my night owl animals, getting items from them, and also doing a little fishing and bug hunting.  I caught a Stringfish and another bee.

I can sum today up in five simple words  *clears throat*

*starts singing* Money, money, money, money… MONEY! 

Right, so I was supposed to go over to digitus’ today to get some Exotic stuff, but, like he said they might be, his gates were closed.  So, instead, I went to J-Balla's town.  There I met Elliott, who’s cool.  We all went to my town after that where we met up with THExBOY.  We all spent our time fishing the day away.  I made out like a freakin bandit!!  3 coelacanths, 6 tunas, 3 Red snappers, and a bunch of football fish and Sea butterflies!  Made me about 150,000 bells!

After a bit Elliott had to go home.  And at around 11pm or so, THExBOY had to go home too, but he invited as all to Rivendal, so that’s where we went!  We lost the connection half a million times while we were there, and over my many resulting trips to his town I met Leo, SNES, kim, and LINDA, who I now see I forgot to add to my friend roster… sure hope I meet her again! XD  They’re all really cool people and I’m glad I met them.  I hope to see them all again soon!  Though Leo is a little needy when it comes to modern stuff… =P

One of my favorite things about Rivendal is that Elmer lives there!  I love Elmer!  He’s my boy. <3 He’s was in my town in the old game, and he was my favorite neighbor.  I secretly sent THExBOY’s Elmer a letter asking him to move to my town! He probably won’t listen, since AC animal never understand anything in people’s letters, but it was nice to see him again.

Got a new neighbor today too.  Limberg.  He's cool, but cranky.

Overall today was a fantastic day of fishing and socializing fun!  Tomorrow I go to my dad’s and I won’t have wi-fi access, so I won’t be able to see any of you until Monday…  I’ll miss you all!  It will be so terribly boring without you…

Well, I haven’t gone to my dad’s quite yet, so hopefully I’ll be able to hang out with some people before I go.

Dr. Shrunk was finally in my town again today!!  I’ve learned the shocked emotion! 

Cyrano’s thinking of moving… that’s not good… If he moves to any of your towns, you tell me so I can come visit him!!

Oh, I know see that J-Balla’s gates are open, so off I go!


Evening update:  Right, so I was only at J-Balla’s town for a few minutes before we got disconnected.  Elliott was there, and before we got disconnected I found out the rimmed glasses that were left in my town yesterday were his.  He said I could keep them, though I’ll probably just sell them.  They’re not very attractive. =P

After I got back to my town I built an un-perfect snowman, had some coffee, talked to Mabel and Sable, and did a few errands for the neighbors.  A lack luster day to say the least…

I’m at my dad’s now and I won’t be back at my mom’s until Sunday, which means I won’t have wi-fi access until then.  See you guys around

Woke up this afternoon feeling pretty good!  Had a new look and it was snowing!

Went to nook’s to sell all the crap I had accumulated the night before, and then went about my rounds.

The first thing I did was check my map to see if Cyrano had moved, which he hadn’t!  Happy day indeed!  I had sent him 5 letters the night before asking him to stay (desperate much? XD).  Guess they worked!  And not only that but later in the day I ran into him and he gave me his picture!  I was so giddy!  That’s three animals that have given me their picture, which means I have as many as you now, Jo Jo!  Unless you’ve gotten a forth one since I was in your town…

Talked with Sable, as always, and she has really started to open up to me!  Today she told me of her and her sister’s hard life growing up.  She’s 10 years older than her sister, Mabel.  Their dad left and their mom died when Mabel was still a little girl.  Sable told me about how she had to really try to step up to the plate for Mabel’s sake.  She said she tried her best and she’s really surprised and happy how normal Mabel grew up to be!  I have new respect for Sable.  What a trooper.

Gracie was in my town today.  She’s scary looking in this game!  I took her little fashion quiz and apparently I failed it miserably.  She says I have the fashion sense of a red-neck!  Someone had better post a guide somewhere with the right answers to that thing, because it’s impossible to just get it right.  Unless you’re really really lucky with your guesses, or you’re… Gracie.

I went over to Bob’s, you know, see how he’s doing.  He asked me to catch him a Sea butterfly, and I was like “sure!”  Almost immediately I caught a coelacanth!  And I caught another one later in the day!  I’ve caught 8 now in all, I think.  I only have 197,839 bells left on my third expansion debt.

Spent the rest of the day fishing, talking to my town residents, and taking care of my town.  Planted two new coconut trees, and I plan on planting some new pear trees tomorrow.  The simple life, but I like it.

Not much happened today.  I was mostly active during the daytime so there was no good fishing.

No one cool was in my town today, and as far as I can tell, no one is moving.  Did my usual stuff at nook’s, and then went to the Able sisters’ and saw that they had a Royal Crown!    I was so upset because it was so beautiful, but I knew there was no way I could raise 1,200,000 bells in one day, even if it was snowing.  So I gave up on that fleeting fantasy almost immediately and went about planting new fruit trees.  Planted some coconut, peach and cherry trees.  And pretty much… that’s all she wrote.

Captain’s log, star date 123105

Right, so today was New Year’s Eve and the festivities were fantabulous! 

Right so first thing in the morning I went to nooks to sell, like always.  When I walked in the door he informed me that today they had a special Spotlight Item in stock.  I was all excited and ran upstairs hoping and hoping that it was something from the Japanese set, but alas, it was only a blue dresser.  So if anyone wants a blue dresser PM me and I’ll order you one.

I then went up to town square to see what we were doing for New Years and saw a nice big countdown sign, counting down the last hours and minutes of 2005.  I went to talk to Tortimer and he gave me a party popper!  It was so much fun that I kept talking to him until I had quite the hefty stash of party poppers.

After getting all my party poppers I went around town talking to the neighbors.  They just kept going on about how excited/scared they were of the new year, and going over everything they did this past year.  Many of them made sure to mention how knowing me greatly improved their year!  They’re all so sweet.

Unfortunately my dear Cyrano was sick today so he couldn’t join me in any of the holiday celebrations.  I gave him some medicine and hopefully tomorrow he’ll be right as rain.

Later in the evening I went to The Roost to hear old K.K. play his tunes.  I got Forest Life and Miko (my cousin) got Agent K.K.  They’re both pretty cool jams.  Forest Life is the old Animal Crossing theme music, so that’s all nice and sweet.

I pretty much spent the rest of the day running around town like a lunatic talking the neighbors until midnight.  At midnight we all had a small but loverly celebration (which is still going on!  Oh the fireworks!!).  My siblings, Jayne, Hanataro and Kojiro, all came to my town to celebrate the new year with me.  They bugged me for about 15 minutes and then I kicked them out.

I’m a little jealous right now because I know some of you must be having fun New Year’s parties in your towns right now using Wi-Fi and I can’t join in on any because I won’t have Wi-Fi until tomorrow night…  Oh well, such is life.  Happy New Year, everyone!

Captain’s log, star date 010106

Well, Kaylee was a busy little bee today!  Woke up this morning and talked to all the neighbors and the Mayer, wishing everyone a Happy New Year!  I then went to nooks to sell the two stringfish I had caught last night.  After that I just roamed around town waiting to get Wi-Fi access (waiting to go back to my mom’s).  While waiting I shot down two balloons and made 20,000 bells fishing.

After a bit I finally got my Wi-Fi back and I went to my gates to see what was what.  I saw the Elliott’s gate was open so I went to his town where I met Louie.  Later while I was there Pat showed up.  I had made arrangements to meet him in my town so I could sell him some Japanese stuff, so it was nice to run into him in elliott’s town.  We all decided to go to my town so I could sell Pat his stuff.

When we were back in Serenity I found out that Pat had a white katana!  Right away I knew I had to go to his town so I could see it!  Which I did.  It was so beautiful!  I nearly cried! 

Met up with Didgitus in pat’s town, and after ogling the katana the three of us went back to my town and met up with THExBOY.  And he then told us that had expanded his house so that he had both the east and west wings!  We were all like “What?!  How the hell did you mange that?!”  Turnips, he replied simply.  So, Naturally, I went to his town to check out his mansion of a pad.  Needless to see I was, and am, extremely jealous.  He’s doing an outdoor theme in one room and a kitchen in the other, and I told him about all this stuff I had, and he was interested.  So I went back to my town, ordered him all sorts of crap because I’m so damn nice, and then he came back to my town to get them.  He was nice though.  He paid me 10,000 bells for them when I didn't ask him to!

While we were still in my town Alex showed up.  I had made plans with him as well to sell him a keg.  We made our trade and then we all hung out for a bit fishing.  Elliott had come back by this time too.  Over the next couple of hours a few different people came and went.  I can’t be bothered to remember all of them!

By this point things get a little foggy.  We lost the connection so many times, and there were so many people…  I know the THExBOY, Pat and I played tag for a bit, and then Pat had to go home.  Louie came by, Elliott came by, Kojiro came by, but at some point or another they all had to leave.  Then it was just me and THExBOY.  He was really sweet.  He stayed with me for god knows how long while I waited for Zaman, Jo Jo and J-Balla.  I had stuff to buy from Zaman and sell to Jo Jo and J-Balla.  But they never showed up.  So eventually THExBOY left, and I turned in.  Busy bee indeed.  Happy New Year!

Captain's log, stardate 010206

Today a some people came over, most of them the same as yesterday.  Pat, louie, and THExBOY.  But today J-Balla came by too.  Everyone fished on and off, having a gay old time.  By night fall Zaman finally was able to come over and sell me my Exotic bed and wardrobe.  I'm so happy to finally have them!

With all the good fishing I've been doing I finally paid off my third expansion!  I had gotten it down to 34,000 bells, and then THExBOY just up and gave me 35,000!  Thank you so much, Mr. T!

So, got my exotic furnishings and upgraded my house.  Shiny.

My house got expanded today and I know need to come up with 728,000 bells to pay of mah new debt.  I’m putting the Japanese set in my new room.  I got the Ninja Sword from my brother, Kojiro, today, so now the only Japanese thing I don’t have it the Black katana!  And the wallpaper and carpet that I need to get from Saharah.

Few people came over.  We mostly just traded items and junk.  Fun.

Captain’s log, star date 021006

Goodness me, I haven’t updated for a bit!  Guess there’s not really anything too interesting to report.  My AC life has pretty much been the same these past few days.  Bunch of people come over, and leave, and come over again.  We fish, I sell items to my customers.  And I make my basic rounds around town.  Ah, you gotta love the simple life. =)

The people who come over the most recently and are some of my favorite AC pals are THExBOY, Pat, and Zaman.  They got my back. B)

Probably the most interesting thing that’s happened to me was on Saturday night/Sunday morning.  I was browsing the gamespot forums and came upon a thread of a person asking to catalog Gulliver items.  I was about to go to bed but I figured I’d let this guy catalog my Martyoshka that THExBOY had given.  He came to my town, cataloged the item and then just out of the blue asked me if I wanted a crown!  I thought he was just gonna let me catalog it, but he said I could keep it because I was nice enough to let him catalog my item for free!  So, naturally, I accepted his very generous offer because he said he had a bunch that he needed to get rid of.

He explored my town for a bit and I asked him if happened to have a black katana.  He said he could order me one and I offered to pay 20k for it, but he said I could just have it!  He said I was a nice person and it was his thanks.  So I went to his town to pick up the black katana.  While I was there I stopped by his house, which was completely expanded!  And not only that, but his house was a freakin fun house!  His main room was filled with every Nintendo item there is!  He didn’t hack them, but he did get them from a hacker. 

In that room he also had a metroid.  I kept looking at it and playing the metroid music.  He noticed how much I liked and asked if I wanted one!  I asked if he was kidding and he said he had 5 left to give away!  So I went back to my town and he came with the metroid!  This was the best AC day of my life!

He only stayed for a minute that last time.  He had to go to bed because he had church in the morning.  This guy is a saint.  I can only hope that I happen to be on sometime when his gates are open again.  His beautiful pearly gates… *insert angelic choir here*

Captain’s log, star date 012506

Right, so nothing special went down today, but what I want to talk about is what went down yesterday.

Hokay, so I opened my gates so sqaur could pick up the Ranch couch he had ordered, and in a matter of minutes THExBOY arrived.  So reliable, he almost always comes to my town when I open the gates at a reasonable hour. Eventually sqaur got there and I sold him his couch.  He then asked if I happened to have any other ranch items on me, to which I replied “if you needed so much ranch stuff, why did you only order the couch?”  He responded by saying that he didn’t have the bells.  Don’t worry, sqaur, we’ve all been there.  Anyway, now he did have the bells so he told me what he needed and I said I would order them and then reopen my gates.  THExBOY then told me to come to his town when I was done with my sale, and I said sure.

I ordered sqaur’s stuff and sqaur came and picked them up.  I then went to see if THExBOY had opened his gates yet, which he hadn’t.  But while I was waiting, Derek opened his gates, so I figured I’d go over there for a few minutes to pass the time.  Didn’t really do much there.  Hung out in his museum while he made a sale, and then I bought some stuff from his nooks.  He asked me what my turnip prices were and I told him they were 131 bells, because they were.  He asked if he could come sell in my town, and said sure, even though I thought 131 was a cheap price to sell at.

Before I left I went to talk to his Hopper because Hopper is one of my favorite AC characters.  I was in for a surprise.  When I talked to him I found out that he was from Karakura, my brother’s town!  I couldn’t believe it!  I didn’t even know my brother had Hopper in the first place!  And to find out that he had let him move.  Disgraceful… I’m gonna have a stern talking to with that boy.

Right, so I went back to my town and opened the gates for Derek.  While he was there selling, THExBOY came back.  I immediately apologized for being late, but he didn’t care.  He just really wanted me and Derek to get over to his town ASAP because he was having, what I called, a meteor shower!  He said he had seen 8 shooting stars in just 20 minutes!  So, naturally, Derek and I got over there post haste.  You’ve never seen so many stars!  Even though they didn’t all get saved, because we lost the connection a few times, I saw at least 15 stars!  Eventually it was just THExBOY and me wishing on stars for hours.  It was only later that xboy found out that no matter how many stars you wish on in a night, you’ll only get the one gift in the morning.  So we wasted a good 2-3 hours.  But I didn’t care, it was still fun.

While still in xboy’s I went to talk with Elmer, like I always do when I go to xboy’s town.  Between you and me (and by you I of course mean everyone who happens to read this, including xboy…) I’m secretly (or not so secretly) trying to get Elmer to move to my town.  I love him so! ^_^ xboy came to Elmer’s house also, and after we were both done talking with him we just hung out in Elmer’s house rambling on about nothing in particular.  Talked about life, death and Strong Bad.  Good times.  Gooood times…

So eventually xboy had to kick me out because he has normal sleeping hours!  I went home, fished for a bit, and then turned in.  And my turned in I mean, turned off AC and watched TV.  I don’t have normal sleeping hours. =P

Captain’s log, star date 031206

Finally!  Finally!!  My town is perfect!

I’ve been trying on and off for the past month or so to get my town perfect, with a lot of help from THExBOY, with no luck.  Even THExBOY will tell you that my town has been very picky about its status.  SO, the other night I was at good old gamefaqs and decided to give the perfect town guide a look over.  I had heard about everything you had to do to make your town perfect, but I had never actually looked at the guide myself.  I read over the trees section and went to work!

At the time my town had too many trees, so I had to cut down a fair few.  My axe actually broke that night before I could make any real headway.  It was already well past 11pm so I couldn’t go to nooks to buy a new one.  So, being the practical gal I am, I went to bed.

First thing in the morning (coughafternooncough) I went to nooks and bought a new axe!  Then it was back to work.  I spent SO LONG cutting down trees one at a time.  Cutting down a tree and then running to town hall to check the status and then going to cut down another tree.  After about 45 minutes of this I was really starting to lose hope.  I decided that I would cut down just one more tree and then give up for the day because I had other matters that needed attending. 

I went and cut down that fateful last tree and went to check my status and with that one tree my status went from too many trees to perfect! 

   “Serenity is a great place to be!  It’s really come a long way!”

T_T  I stared at those words for at least 15 seconds before the tears started streaming and I yelled out FINALLY!!!  But not really.  I just grinned, let out my long held sigh of frustration, and then went into the next room to tell everyone the grand news!  No one cared…  XD

To make matters even more lovery, this morning (coughafternooncough) I had my first very own Jacobs Ladder!  Oh joyous rhapsodic day!  Serenity is Perfect!
