Anybody Here Playing HeartGold/SoulSilver?

Not sure where to put this topic, so I put it here with the other GEN 4 Pokemon games.

Just wondering if anybody here is actually working through these games.  I've been playing SoulSilver for the past two months and have been loving all 70 or so hours of it.

Anyway, if anybody is playing these still ring me up.  I've been attempting to complete the Johto Pokedex (completing the National dex is a pipe dream at this point), and will probably need to resort to trading at some point or another.  Unfortunately, nobody I know in the real world has HeartGold, and I would rather not have to resort to going to GameFAQs.

I have HG but haven't played in a while and my PokeDex isn't very filled at all. I still haven't beat the elite four the second time yet.

I still play occasionally. I have a good amount of Pokemon in there right now in that game. If you need starters, it's gonna have to come from Diamond, because I have them all in there as well as most other Pokemon.

I'm currently working on the Sapphire Pokedex, because I don't have a lot of Pokemon in there.

Well HOLY SMOKES!  I just caught a shiny Steelix.

As for Diamond starters, I need the two that are not Piplup, so is there anything that you need or want...I'll see if I have it if you do and we can set a time.

Also, I don't really care which stage in their evolution tree they are in, since I've got a Ditto cranking out eggs in my Day Care Center.

Lucky. Well, I had caught a shiny Poliwag while training a Budew, but that's not much of a color difference. Looks better in that color.

My God.  Sorry I don't mean for this to turn into a personal blog of mine but...I just got a Darkrai thanks to that Steelix.

Well, that was certainly an amazing turn of events for me.

Anyway, Karting4ever, I'd be happy to set up a trade later (like maybe during next week) for the other starters that I'm missing (everything except Piplup's and Totodile's evolution family, though I plan to get Squirtle and Mudkip after I beat Red so I can pass on them).  Just tell me what you want in return and I'll see what I can do.

I played a little bit of SS but I think I got too busy in the last few weeks of the semester, so I inadvertently stopped playing it. I think I stopped just before heading off to Azalea Town or the Slowpoke Tail point. I guess the Pokémon RPG series has gotten too trite to me since D/P/P. It's kind of a sad feeling.

So, I guess I'm not playing HG/SS.

Depends on what you want in return.  If you want, say another starter in return, you'll have to give me time to breed them.  Either way I won't be able to trade until sometime next week.

If that's the case then I can go ahead and do this as early as Monday afternoon-night.  If you don't mind then I'll just send some baby pokemon and extra Unowns.

And just to set the record straight, any from the following evolution families (that you are willing to part with of course) would be awesome:

Charmander family
Chikorita family
Treecko family
Torchic family
Turtwig family

I already completely beat the game within the first two weeks after the game got released.

My Pokemon are around their 80s...been lazy/busy to finish training them.
I mostly play pearl when it comes to training, I have like 9 lvl 100 teams
plus my dex is around 440.

Yeah after I beat Red I hung up SoulSilver and went towards Shin Megami Tensei:  Strange Journey.

Spent close to 100 hours (which is not much compared to what some people do I reckon), and I won't play another Pokemon game until Black/White, which my excitement for ramps up by the day.

I haven't really read up on these, but when I saw some scans a few days back. I thought i saw some scans of 3 pokemon battles? Whats up with that? Is one of the starters electric this time round? I also saw a dark and ground starter if I'm not mistaken.

No. They're still fire, water, and grass.

Nope, we have the grass snake, the fire pig, and the water otter.

Quite a few people have been whining about the new designs...personally I have no problem with them.  There are a few even from generation 1 that were just as ridiculous as Gears or whatever.
